The LIV North Journey:
In 2017, a strategy was developed to create a full-service organization that spanned the country; a single source solution designed to change the game in fitness and recreation services. And with that, the LIV North group was born.
To start, LIV North developed a first-of-its-kind cloud-based operating system that has been designed to provide exceptional service and operational efficiencies. It has allowed Superior Pool, Spa & Leisure Ltd, for example, to reduce case resolutions from 5 days to just under 24 hours in less than a year. It has also led to exceptional customer service scores.
In November 2018, LIV North acquired National Fitness Products of Canada Inc, a premier commercial fitness dealer with industry leading brands and strong customer relationships. National Fitness is heavily invested in club, municipal and educational markets. Through restructuring and an enhanced sales team, it is expanding into new vertical markets with an extensive range of product selection.
In August 2018, LIV North’s expansion continued with the acquisition of a leading Canadian health and lifestyle management company, Health Systems Group (HSG). Founded in 1970, Health Systems Group has offices in Calgary and Toronto with over 65 management contracts in British Columbia, Alberta, Ontario, Quebec and Halifax. HSG Works with many different sectors including Commercial Buildings, Community Centres, Hospitals, Active Aging Centres, Multi-Unit Residential, Manufacturing Facilities, and Colleges and Universities.
In January 2019, Liv North enhanced its nationwide operations with the acquisition of Alberta based Apple Fitness Store LTD. Apple Fitness is a leader in commercial fitness distribution across Canada, with 26 years of quality, integrity & full 360 degree customer service.
